Bathroom Extras

Just a quick post to update you on our bathroom. We FINALLY have a shower! Yay! and Yay! again. Initially the poles that came down from the ceiling were too long - and the shower rail only came up to our waists - this was because the ceilings are so low - it did little to stop water getting everywhere, or protect our dignity. So it was back to the drawing board for a while. I found this shower curtain in Wilkinsons (I know!!!) and allowed myself a few roses. The light fitting matched the colours of the bathroom so well - I had to have it - carboot.....£2!!!!

So bathroom is finished - yes a room is finished - and I love it!!!!

  1. What a wonderful feeling it must be to have a room finished. The bathroom looks lovely.

Our bathroom has needed renovating since moving in well over 10 years ago now (although admittedly not as much as your did ;-) !) I live in hope.

  4. Hi fleur,
I just had to pop by and tell you how much I admire you and your husband for taking on all that hard work.

I would love to live in a cottage like that but I don't think I could cope with all that upheaval and mess. Also my hubby could fix your computer but give him a screwdriver and it's a totally different story, bless him. lol.

OH and the bathroom looks fab, I've just read every single previous post. I'm so jealous. lol.

  5. Both the bathroom & the bedroom look great. I love the decor you have chosen, it makes me want to get my finger out and post on my own blog the makeovers we have done in our home :o).

Am following you now so I can keep up with your progress in your beautiful cottage.
